With Mom laid up from surgery and unable to keep up with an 8 month old puppy, Chewie ended up getting in trouble.

Lundy

Today has been a terribly sad day. Chewie's bother Lundy was hit by a car and passed away. We are so saddened and our hearts go out to his mom and dad. Lundy was the runt of the litter and was the only pup to keep his little tail. He was so soft and adorable and he was absolutely the most agile little guy. We'll miss having this little guy in the area. We know that he brightened the days of many of his neighbors and people in his dog park.

Belgian Independence Day

Today the humans celebrated Belgian indepence day with a flammekeuch, moules and frites, and some lambic. Yum.

Bushrich's Artful Dodger

Chewie's uncles got a new pup today! He's a rescue named Dodger, but I like the fancier name above. So cute!

Chewie hates Leukemia and Lymphoma!!!

His uncle Jeff is participating in a triathlon (Chewie would too but although he is an excellent swimmer and runner his paws don't reach the pedals on a bike) to raise money for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. He has to raise big bucks so if you want to give some because you love charity, hate blood diseases or need a tax deduction go here. We are trying to do something for this charity as well but it's super secret!

Chewie had explosive projectile you-know-what that took almost 2 hours to clean.
By the time I was done cleaning he was acting innocent.

The vet told us to give him bland food which he ignored, but when he saw our Thai food he was all up in our grills.
